The High School Youth will be collecting items for Pillars Adult and Family Shelter, located
on Division Street in Appleton. They came together to choose a shelter that they felt
connected to and wanted to help. There will be a box for item collection in the Narthex by the shopping cart and we will be accepting items until April 28th. Once all items have been collected, our High School Youth will put them together and they will dropped off at the Adult and Family Shelter the first week of May.
Our Youth have been incredibly excited to do more for the surrounding community through service projects this year and this is a great way to help them serve our community, and to support the community yourself. Christ the King has done so much for the community over it’s 40 years and we cannot thank you enough for not only supporting the Youth service activities this year, but also for sharing the Gospel through your generous donations.
The list of items are color coded for priority. Items in red are the items needed the most. Laundry Detergent, Adult Backpacks, Melatonin, Planners, Benadryl, Textured Hair Products (For BIPOC folx), Gift Cards: Amazon, Car Wash, Festival Foods, Home Depot, JJ’s Laundromat, Kwik Trip (Gas ONLY), Meijer, Menards, Misc Fast Food places, Pick’N’Save, Target, Walmart ($10.00), Woodmans and Valley Transit.
