From the contemporary Christian song, The Heart of Worship, these words resonate with me as I think of worship, “I’m coming back to the heart of worship and it’s all about You, it’s all about You, Jesus.” Worship is an integral part of who we are as Christians. With our new Worship & Music Coordinator, Francisco Fernandez coming September 1, choir starting up, Sunday school, Christian Education, Confirmation, Bible study groups, and much more. After a summer break, getting into, a different, intentional rhythm with Jesus is important!
Rally month (September) conjures up the Spirit, who draws us deeper into God’s love through Jesus. This all happens while learning, serving, and sharing fellowship with one another. However, before we get to rally month, we literally need 15 seconds of your time to answer a few questions from the attached survey about worship time(s).
Right now, we are worshiping at 9:15am in-person and online. Since this is something that affects everyone, we want to hear from you. It will take just a few seconds to help us determine whether to remain at one service or move to two services after Labor Day. We want to best serve God and you as we ponder adding another in-person service to the schedule. This may look different then what we’ve done in the past. Take a few moments to share your input so that all of us can focus on the heart of worship, Jesus!
