CtK 2024 picnic was a celebration of the congregation coming together throughout the year and enjoying great food! I give thanks for the many people who made contributions toward the many fundraisers for the youth to attend the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering July 15-21! We have had a lot of fun and we have eaten a lot of wonderful food! Your light-hearted spirit and fun was appreciated throughout the year!
As far as the picnic, God provided a fabulous sunshiny day for us to bask in the light or the shade of the tent. There are many thanks to share with all of you!

-Thank you to our worship leaders, youth, and adults who shared their testaments of faith about the ELCA Youth Gathering.
-Thank you to Denise & Rick who shared their wardrobe of many hats and fun accessories for the photo booth!
-Thank you to Mari Card for organizing the Name that Tune Game & Trivia!
-Thank you for sharing the best of your homemade dishes to pass during mealtime!
-Thank you to many who helped with cleanup and post-picnic activities. All of you shared in the large undertaking to make this day happen!
-Thank you to Fox Community Credit Union and Bike to the Beat organizers for the use of the tent, tables, and chairs!
-Again, a huge thank you to the congregation for your generous fundraising gifts and sponsorships for our 13 youth and 8 adults to attend the Youth Gathering. Sunday (8.4.24) was a great day to hear about how God was working in our youth, the church, and through the Gathering. Your contributions have made a difference for our young people to experience how the whole church, is working together for the sake of the gospel. As Paul shares in Romans Now I beseech you, siblings, by our Lord Jesus Christ, and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together, that we may build up the body and care for one another! Way to go CtK! Keep it up!
